Australia to NZ = worse than American games

As the title says, Australia to NZ games are insanely bad, beyond the point of unplayable. We have Fibre to the home which for Australia is rarer then Santa Clause, in my naivety I thought it would improve our COD playing experience, sadly all it has done is sent us back to the stone age, I honestly can't understand why it is so bad.

Also, why does it have our server in the middle of America? Its obviously not there because the ping is less than 15ms, annoying as hell either way.

Iy may just be that the NZ servers have a poor config or connection and getting the data across the (massive) pond may be faster. It is well known that the USA has the best networking infrastructure, it may be that simple or something more detailed however i'm sure fraser or crossy may be able to help with that

Hey guys thanks for the reply, forgot to mention it has nothing to do with the Netduma, Cod has gone from bad to good to brilliant to bad again since release! For some reason though if I set mine to strict mode with no ping assist it just does not find a game (that is with home in mid with all Australia selected).

The host ID is: ID: 6028ad78c5ff797e    Distance: 15022km , its an always allow host (I thought it might of just been a server for stats etc?).

Forgot to also mention that the ping to NZ is always good, its just the internal COD bullshit that is making in unbearable *cough* lag comp *cough*

Hopefully the following pictures help, I have been testing all morning and it will not find a game in strict mode because of that server being out of the zone (I assume). As soon as I lift ping assist to around 22ms it will find a game, sadly its with NZ which as stated above is not ideal.
