Am I right in thinking

That when you join a lobby in BO3 you connect to a host/dedi, does all the lobby connect to the dedi, or does the dedi select the most viable host and then connects them all together?

Sorry if this seems a daft question, but I have been experiencing strange things when connecting and playing the game.

Last night I was playing HCFFA and was playing the game and keeping my eye on the GF and Host Desciptor the HD kept going of and connecting to a different host while in game, which resulted in the ping graph going bonkers :)

There does seem to be correlation as to what is happening on the PA and the in game ping, in one game my PA was between 25-35 the in game was showing 20-40 but with spikes up top 64.

I was getting murdered in HCFFA, switched to HCTDM and it was a totally different experience, winning gunfights going positive and enjoying it. Switched back , lost all the gunfights, went negative every game, lagging behind everyone else.

I am turning into a very strong player as I am holing all the leaderboards up, and if I carry on ranking up at my currant rate. I will make prestige by Xmas 2016 :)

In conclusion after playing AW /COD I think that the Netduma allows you to select/deselect hosts and to limit the distance you can connect to which what it says on the time.

In my experience it has not made any difference to the actual gaming experience.

I have turned the GF of and connected to hosts in the USA with know discernible difference in lag when the GF is connected?

I see people putting up videos of games where they get 30-4 games and say it's all thanks to the Duma, it would be nice to get that I suppose, but in my case that's not realistic, but it would be nice to get somewhere near those type of scores.

Anyway that's my gripe over with :)

It can't dictate other peoples connections, so just like without the Geo you get connected to a US server, people outside your radius may connect to the dedicated server in your radius. It ensures that you personally get a close host.

It sounds like a playlist issue if just switching them has such a drastic change in the quality of the game.

A US server will have lag, whether you feel it or not, throw a grenade or shoot your gun, you will see the slight delay

Like Fraser said you can control the distance of the dedi you connect to with your GF but the duma can't control who else connects to that same dedi.So if you have 3 other players connected to the dedi with 100 plus ping your gonna have a less than desirable gaming experience.
