ThePhyter
I want to run my R1 when my gateway is in bridge mode, but when I turn on bridge mode and wait for gateway to reset, I then turn off R1 and turn back on and then it displays I have no WAN IP and I have no internet obviously. I want to know what I have to do to get it to work correctly when I have it in bridge mode. I also have the newest Xfinity 105.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 4, 2015 Administrators Share Posted November 4, 2015 Put it in bridge mode and then power off gateway & Netduma. Disconnect all devices from the Netduma if wired. Connect port 1 of the Duma into port 1 on the gateway. Power up the gateway and after a minute, power up the Netduma and connect your devices to the duma.

Sgt-Greco
OK, maybe this is a stupid question, but can we use a bridged router as an access point or repeater?
