Still connecting to games where I am getting bad hosts, laggy gunfights, and for some odd reason, even though I am on the latest update, cannot block the host. I do have the update button where i can try to block it, but for some odd reason, it is not properly blocking the host. I never seem to see the lock on the screen to show that I blocked the hosts. To be honest, I have more than 50 blocked hosts and none of them are locks on the screen. Plus, because of this, I am getting into games where I am losing a lot of gunfights and the connection seems really off. What should I do? I have tried a lot of things but nothing seems to work. Nick
airwalker Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 sounds like u are connecting to dedicated servers and netduma wont allow u to block them. You have to move ur location so u can set ur geofilter to block the dedicated server
Monzo Posted October 24, 2015 Author Posted October 24, 2015 Its not saying it a dedi, it seems like its a regular host. if it was a dedi, wouldnt another symbol pop up on the screen?

I am having the same problem that u describe, netduma told me it was bcos of connecting to a dedicated server

Monzo Posted October 24, 2015 Author Posted October 24, 2015 I just realized something. It can't be a dedi because if it was, it would not give me the option to block it or put it under the accept and deny list. It is giving me that option so i think you might be wrong about that.

Monzo Posted October 24, 2015 Author Posted October 24, 2015 No, i am playing on black ops 2 on the 360. They can't be dedis because it is giving me the option to block them, but its just not doing that
fuzzy clam Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 If there's no update button when you click on the host you're playing on a dedi. You can move your home location to avoid the dedi or shrink your GF...

Monzo Posted October 24, 2015 Author Posted October 24, 2015 I did what the wiki asked me to do, which is to block the host by updating it and then waiting two minutes. For some odd reason its just not blocking the host properly and I want an answer to why its not doing what its supposed to do.

Problem is that no matter how many times i block a host or server, I still get into games that are causing me problems such as lagging, bad connection and not winning most of my gunfights. By now, you probably think that this is happening because i may be a bad player or something close to that effect, which in fact is not the case. I do have a 2.20 KD with modification products such as KontrolFreeks and a Scuf Controller. My accuracy is very good, but losing gunfights is a big problem for me, meaning that lag or connection problems is the problem. How should I fix that?

And after you block the host (put it at like 5 percent as zero won't register) so it won't ever be an option for host,are you waiting 2 minutes so the anti cheat feature can do it's thing ? In other words wait until that host is no longer visible on your GF,then try to find another game.

Like do I have to stay in the same game with the host for 2 minutes for him or her to be blocked? its a little confusing. could you please go more into depth of how to do it?
fuzzy clam Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 When I block people you rate the host and then I back out of the lobby and wait until the host's circle is no longer on your GF,then just find a new lobby. Again this is what I do but your milage may vary.
