How to identify/whitelist Friends in Destiny

Recommended Posts

I understand the process, but for Destiny it seems a bit different.  For example I can't invite a single person to a "game".  There are no private lobbies.  Joining people in Orbit didn't seem to have my friend show up on the geo-filter page.

At any rate, after just thinking about it, I wonder if going into a raid with a single person will accomplish what I need since it will truly just be the two of us.

I haven't played destiny so maybe someone who has played it will be able to say how they have done it. Anything where it is just you and the other person in the game should show them on the GeoFilter :)

Inviting them to your fireteam doesn't work?

Yes that should work :)
