oldmategm Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Hello, I have done this previously with ddwrt/tomato on my r7000 nighthawk but am now using the netduma as my main router and have setup my nighthawk as a hardwired wifi AP in the middle of the house due to poor wifi coverage. Would really like to access my adsl modem to see the line stats etc Can a vlan be created on the wan port of the duma? My modem is running on 10.0.0.3 and netduma is 192.168.1.1 This is a guide I used on ddwrt - http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Access_To_Modem_Configuration I know netduma is pretty locked down on the GUI so ppl can't brake it, but it would be a nice feature or if someone knows how to do this, even better! Cheers
Zennon Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Port 2 on your modem if it is a Bt Huawei with modified firmware, I know it means changing an Ethernet cable but its a work around for now.
oldmategm Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 Modem is a tplink td-8817 so only 1 port unfortunately
Zennon Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 So if you type the modems IP into the address bar of your browser you can not get to the modems GUI?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 16, 2015 Administrators Posted October 16, 2015 You should be able to access it like Zennon says, double check the IP to access it hasn't changed when in bridge mode.
oldmategm Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 Nah tried 10.0.0.3 and the original default 10.0.0.138 but both say address unreachable
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 17, 2015 Administrators Posted October 17, 2015 There are WAN VLAN settings that you could try though I've never used it personally
