That is strange. Because if we could solve this location problem I think that would be the better set up for you modem>R1>Nighthawk(AP mode)

Internet connections send requests to stay alive frequently it looks like the requests are not getting to their destination in the instances you have posted here.

 

Are these over a short time or a long time?

Not trying to hijack your thread kevo,I also have issues with charter and have the same speeds as you and the same issues.If you don't mind I'll just follow along and ask a question from time to time and maybe we can get this shit sorted out for both of us.

 

Buck I don't have my R1 in the DMZ of my netgear,I use it in AP mode should I have enable upnp unticked ?

 

And kevo hope you have better luck with charter than I did.I supplied 3 weeks of info showing massive node overload but got nothing but the cops called on me as I went and sat at their office until I could speak to someone in charge.Apparently I made some of the people feel uncomfortable... :D

That happens with Cox too on my Sb6183 and it also happened on my CM400 from Netgear.

Sounds good to me and you're exactly right,charter has got the worst customer service I've ever seen.

nice ive set it up like i use to with the r1 as the secondary router but ill try it
