I'm still learning about all of this myself, so I definitely may be way off here, but for what it's worth my understanding is that as a general concept (i.e., not specific to ND), it's best to either use UPnP or Port Forwarding but not both together - in very layman terms the two together risk conflicting with one another... a quick search on the net should bring this topic up somewhere if further info is desired.

I'm only mentioning this b/c ~8:30 he's walking you through PF'ing but also has UPnP enabled on the router.  Now I should probably also state that since he's only PF'ing one UDP port perhaps all of this potential conflict stuff is quite insignificant, but nonetheless I felt compelled to note this to you and/or anyone who is relatively new (like me) and inadvertently goes off forwarding a zillion ports but also leaves UPnP on as well.

But, rest assured if I am ever incorrect please note that this message will self destruct in...  lol

I am interested, what did you learn from his vids that you didnt have set up originally? 90% of the settings I saw in the video were in the set up wiki. Just interested mate because I'm always looking for that extra setting to make it pop.

Hey guys, i also allways thougt that cant mix upnp with PF without conflicts... but since two weeks or so i tried to forward the PS4 ports wich you can find in the PS4 manuals and have UPNP enabled... because UPNP forwards 9807-8 and 3074 for cod and dont cross the other ports... maybe iam wrong but this isnt a placebo it works like never before its like on LAN... this works for me but i think this should work for all on ps4

you are very right, NEVER mix and match port forwarding and upnp. Use one or the other. Disable upnp and portforward, or just enable upnp. Thats what i do.
