Macabi83
my wife recently upgraded the speed so a tech has to come out tomorrow and change out my modem, we upgraded to the the 45mb package , ive been having the 25MB service one. Based of what I seen online, most likely I will be be given the NVG589, once the tech leaves, would following this guide the only thing I need to get started back up, I fret cause the first time I had mission putting current one that I been using since I got the DUMA in bridgemode.http://forum.netduma...z-r1-on-uverse/ Does any one know following this guide will be all I need not to see the blue box on the netduma saying im connected to two routers. Any one with att and this modem can confirm, this is the way to put that modem they are coming to install tomorrow in bridge mode?
Trolling_Farm
I am not positive since I have Comcast but could you just ask for a Modem and not a Gateway? http://www.att.com/equipment/accessory-details/?q_categoryid=cat2020062&q_sku=sku5480275&q_manufacturer=&q_model= But either way, putting the Gateway into Bridge mode or "whatever they call it" just by logging into the gateway via the IP on the back of the gateway followed by the username and password. If you just google your modem/gateway bridge mode option instructions would be provided quick. I would go with the first option and just get a modem not a gateway since the Duma has wifi. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 30, 2015 Administrators Share Posted September 30, 2015 If its a modem the blue box will not appear and you can just plug the duma in straight away. The blue box is nothing to worry about, if it is a modem/router combo just put in modem mode/bridge or DMZ and it should be fine
