Sindonesia Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Something has changes with my Netduma. I leave ping assist on 55ms and I have the range set to 1500 miles and strict clicked. For some reason in the last week or so I've been connecting to host that are around 80-100 ping. It's like ping assist isn't working.
Zennon Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Ping assist is for outside of the geo the high ping hosts are inside the geo.
Sindonesia Posted September 17, 2015 Author Posted September 17, 2015 So if I set the geo to 500 miles and ping assist to 50ms. I should either connect to someone within the 500 mile or someone outside of 500 miles with 50ms?
Zennon Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 50ms or as low as your base ping will allow outside the geo if available yes.
Sindonesia Posted September 17, 2015 Author Posted September 17, 2015 Thanks, I thought it would only connect to someone within the geo radius and the ping value.
Dillinger Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Thanks, I thought it would only connect to someone within the geo radius and the ping value. Sounds like you got the answer you needed Sin, okay to close this thread as resolved?
PharmDawgg Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Thanks, I thought it would only connect to someone within the geo radius and the ping value.Sometimes the ones that are below your ping assist and outside of the Geofilter are mislocated.
