No, unless you are using the internet for something other than gaming. But having it set to 70% won't cause any harm while gaming

I leave mine alone when I'm the only one home but like Crossy said it won't hurt anything if you do.

Personally I would always have it on, you never know what pesky device could try do an update or do a miniature burst that could be for the game ending kill.
