For everyone using version 1.02.7 and above, you will now be able to run an internet diagnosis test.

If you want to share your results, then post away in this thread.

If you have a poor result and would like some advice, feel free to post below but include the info in the 'show details' box. You may need to send these details to your ISP as there could be a problem with your service.

Here are mine.

I can't believe it's not butter:

Do what? I have to click "More Reply Options" and then attach the file. Would be nice if this was simpler *Cough Adam Cough*

Yes I have Cox's Ultimate internet service. I have had it for probably 3 years now. Was 50/5 originally, then 100/20, then went to 150/20 few months back.

My jitter has always been bad on this test. I run the pingtest.net test and it is within 5ms every time so not sure what is going on. On this test it ranges from 23ms to 31ms to the google servers.

That is awesome. I don't have a pc or laptop at the moment to even see if I get that too. I run Speedtest on my tablet and it varies, not even close to 150/20, more like 20/2. Anyway when the .7 upgrade is good to go I am checking this.

Well over wireless it's hard to get high speed's unless using 5ghz band(R1 doesn't support), and on the 2.4ghz band, it's only realistic to get between 20-30mbps range max on download. If you're wired to the R1, current max is around 120mbps down on the wan side of things.

Oh yeah thats another good part of this tests, it eliminates any wifi interference latency.

I hate you guys. My results suck. I will post later. Stupid Comcast. I've turned off all the IPv6 settings. And disconnected the vpn service. Epic fail. Lol

9 hops I ping test to x box servers faster than this I'm confused because I can ping test almost any were in the USA and get faster times. I'm in central new York. On Verizon FiOS 50/50 . when I use speedtest.Net i get 10 to 20 ms ping.post-583-0-98460300-1422588761_thumb.jpg

I feel your pain A1pha. My jitter is always terrible. It must be a setting on the router. IPv6 vs VPN vs ISP. I don't know and it is frustrating.

ya im really confused namebench says that i should use that google server for dns all the time. im wondering if there is something wrong from my isp or there server at the moment? should i post the trace route? would any one be able to help me fix this problem?
