dionsaur_ Posted Thursday at 02:28 AM Posted Thursday at 02:28 AM Not getting full speeds I am missing about 200 mbs I pay for a 1GB up and down I am wired from my gateway from xfinity to my duma to my pc
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Thursday at 07:47 AM Administrators Posted Thursday at 07:47 AM Have you entered the speeds you paid for/expect? Where are you testing the speeds exactly? Are ALL devices connected to the R3 or do you still have some connected to the gateway?
dionsaur_ Posted yesterday at 07:14 AM Author Posted yesterday at 07:14 AM Yes I did enter the 1 GB speeds I pay for/expect, on my phone I get the full speeds it is connected to the gateway. I noticed my Ping average changed by +10ms so I tested the speeds to the duma I just have my pc wired to the duma and I have my other devices connected to the gateway from xfinity

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted yesterday at 09:17 AM Administrators Posted yesterday at 09:17 AM What do you get on speedtest.net? The in-built speedtest can be inaccurate at times. For the R3 to work most effectively ALL devices should be connected to it rather than the gateway. We'll need to update the Ping Heatmap via the cloud for the game, I'll let the team know, thanks for the report - it won't affect your ability to use the Geo-Filter.
dionsaur_ Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago So these are the tests from my computer. Speedtest seems to be closer. On my phone that is connected to the gateway I get over 1000 mb over wifi though
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted 14 hours ago Administrators Posted 14 hours ago If you don't have ALL devices connected to the R3 then they can take speed away from the router so that's a likely cause. Also splitting the WiFi bands and connecting directly to 5GHz would help. dionsaur_ 1
dionsaur_ Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago I did try putting the gateway in bridge mode and I was getting the same slower speeds Could it be my Ethernet cords? Might of degraded over time? Couldn’t tell you when I got them but they are cat8
