Comp0za Posted September 29 Posted September 29 For some reason, I always have had problem to hard reset the router by holding in the reset button back of the router itself. The hard reset doesn't work. How come? Is it a defect or something?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 30 Administrators Posted September 30 How long are you holding it for? You should feel the button and it specifically click in if holding it correctly. It doesn't bring up the Setup Wizard when you next access, I assume it's just then rebooting?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 1 Administrators Posted October 1 It rebooting instead of resetting would generally indicate its not being held in long enough - it needs 30 seconds, if you're certain it's clicked in for that long then it could be a faulty button, as that's more on the base hardware/software level we don't have too much insight into it
