Mac Posted Monday at 07:38 PM Posted Monday at 07:38 PM PS5 says it is connected to the internet but some areas of the console fail to load for at least 5 seconds or not at all. First thing I always check is to see if PSN is down, but all day there has been no issues. Every time I do a ‘Test Connection’, all functions return. However, when I turn off/reboot console the same thing happens occurs again. I have factory reset both the console and the router but the same still happens. Changed Ethernet cable too but no joy. Have attached some photos for reference. I booted up the console again at 20:32:19 and have attached system log for your info. Thanks.

Mac Posted Monday at 08:16 PM Author Posted Monday at 08:16 PM That seems to have worked. Weird, the IPv6 has been connected to the console with no issues up until today. Does disabling IPv6 LAN/WAN make any difference with gaming /connection in general? Thanks.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Monday at 09:06 PM Administrators Posted Monday at 09:06 PM Great! No it doesn't really make any difference, it makes getting an Open NAT easier but you can still get that with IPv4
Mac Posted Monday at 09:34 PM Author Posted Monday at 09:34 PM I see. Thanks for your swift response. Much appreciated 👍🏻 Netduma Fraser 1

My ISP has native IPv6 and I'm curious why it remains disabled after a factory reset— is there some conflict? Note that I have a fixed (public) IPv4 address. People who didn't have IPv6 were getting issues with it enabled so found it best to disable it by default. I think those original issues are largely resolved. In this instance I believe its actually an issue with the console having trouble when switching back and forth between IPv4/IPv6, other people have found this online as well regardless of router.
