RichardB Posted Friday at 03:53 PM Posted Friday at 03:53 PM Hi, I just got a Netduma router and I’m trying to connect to US servers from Europe, but it just keeps searching and never connect me to a server. I’m targeting the closest US servers that I already know should work. I can actually see that the game detects the servers while searching, but it never connects to a lobby. Here are my settings: - Strict Mode: On - Geo-Latency: Off - Steady Ping: Off - I’ve set the filter around the areas where I know the US servers are Does anyone know what could be causing this or what I should change? Also, do I need to move my “home location” to the US for this to work?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Friday at 04:11 PM Administrators Posted Friday at 04:11 PM Do keep in mind it's for getting your closest servers not ones further away and that the game may have their own restrictions making it more difficult given the ping you would have. What platform are you playing on?
RichardB Posted Friday at 05:11 PM Author Posted Friday at 05:11 PM I am on pc. I connect to these servers with exitlag many times and the ping is not to much so it should not be a problem but I maybe doing something wrong?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Friday at 05:29 PM Administrators Posted Friday at 05:29 PM Do this: Quit the application/game/client completely - including the game client from the System Tray - important! Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give the PC the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client It's essential the Geo-Filter is enabled before the game client/game have been launched. If you change Geo-Filter settings when you're on the game then you will need to restart the game for those changes to take effect, otherwise it will use the previous Geo-Filter settings and appear not to be working.
RichardB Posted Friday at 05:32 PM Author Posted Friday at 05:32 PM Okey, thanks! Will let you know if it works Netduma Fraser 1
RichardB Posted Friday at 09:16 PM Author Posted Friday at 09:16 PM It worked once but now it’s not working again. I have tried to repet the process multiple times and it’s still not working. Seems like it’s connecting to Amsterdam without connecting to a lobby
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Friday at 10:02 PM Administrators Posted Friday at 10:02 PM Do you have Ping Assist on? If so you'll need to disable that also.
RichardB Posted Friday at 10:27 PM Author Posted Friday at 10:27 PM No its off. I tried to change the filter from us to Spain to see if that’s working, but still not working. This is the server it’s stuck to
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Friday at 11:01 PM Administrators Posted Friday at 11:01 PM Can you provide an uncropped screenshot of the Geo-Filter page showing what you see when you get a game outside the radius? Have you added any servers to your allow list?
RichardB Posted Friday at 11:23 PM Author Posted Friday at 11:23 PM yes i fix. yes i have added around 10 servers to the allow list
