Hybrid VPN

Hi, i try to use the hybrid vpn on Netduma R3 and i am playing call of duty black ops 4

When i don't use the hybrid Vpn i have between 50 -120 ping on the servers.

When I use hybrid vpn in same servers I have about 150-200 pings.

How can I fix this ? Maybe I do something wrong? Which port is should choice for vpn 443 -80 -53 -123 -1194 -65142 

I was using another router with vpn and I never get this problem, what is wrong with my Netduma R3?

vpn will normally give you higher ping unless you use one thats only masking your geo location

what vpn are you using and what device are you playing on

I am using windscribe.on ps5 pro and my location is in Scandinavian

@blackeagleosloIt all depends on where you’re routing your VPN and what configuration you’re using, like TCP or UDP. Also, port forwarding doesn’t work on the device you’re forwarding through because your traffic is encrypted, so port forwarding on a device using encryption is generally useless. I do believe there are some VPNs that allow it, but they’re not as secure, so there’s that.

As mentioned using a VPN raises your ping, that is normal behaviour and why we don't usually suggest that you use a VPN while gaming.
