Hello,

Is there a way to connect Netduma R3 directly to ONT without ISP router? If yes, what should I do in order to get connection on R3 other than connecting Ethernet cable to the wan port?

Salut !

Oui c’est possible tout dépend de ton FAI :

soit tu auras besoin de rentrer :

Les identifiants PPPoE

Option DHCP

VLan ID

Quel est ton FAI ? Quel pays ?

Yes just physically connect them together and as above, depending on what you require you may need to enter those details into the router to get a connection. If not then simply connecting them will get you internet, if not reboot the R3 after the physical connection has been made and it should connect normally.

I’m in Italy, my ISP is Dimensione Fibra. I tried with pppoE using username and password they gave me, vlan id 835 but still R3 couldn’t find Internet connection

The only way for me to get the Internet led on is on static, but I get no public ip (it says unknown). With PPPoE and dhcp I get no Internet

Copy the MAC address of your ISP router and set that in MAC address cloning on the R3, do the reboot and check again

I’ve done this but still no public ip and no Internet even though Internet led is on

If the information you're inputting is correct then I think you'll need to contact your ISP - they may need to approve it (remove the mac address clone and reboot before doing this) as there isn't another reason I can think of that would be preventing you connecting
