HANDSOME KING Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Oh Fraser, where art thou? While we're on the topic, please implement a feature for us to add the game and servers on our own. Some of us now ride the bicycle without falling down, we took the training wheels off. 🦈😁

How do you expect them to guess where the servers will be BEFORE it's even released?! Surely that is just common sense. You might be lucky and Cod 6 servers will be used for most of them but who knows until the game is physically out and can be tested?? iOrcus 1

Isso é o mínimo que se espera. Você pode ter sorte e os servidores do Call of Duty 6 serem usados na maioria das partidas, mas quem sabe até o jogo ser lançado e testado? Só colocar BO6 é a mesma coisa.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 13 Administrators Posted November 13 We have data from the beta but that's always subject to change so we'll test the game on launch day and if needed make any necessary cloud updates/changes. However, I will say that every CoD so far has servers in the exact same locations and normally works right away with just maybe an authentication server or two that need whitelisting or just some servers that need to be correctly located. 15 hours ago, HANDSOME KING said: Oh Fraser, where art thou? Some of us now ride the bicycle without falling down, we took the training wheels off. 🦈😁 To what specifically, Geo, Heatmap? It's not really that so much as a game could have thousands of servers and managing that yourself would be less than ideal. As mentioned, for CoD at least, the servers are always located in the same place so you know where to try and force servers each time. With your console (or your PC added as a console) you will see all the servers that make connections on the Geo-Filter and many games will work right away with only minor tinkering needed. This is actually something you could do on your own really if the game you're playing isn't working - to an extent. This won't work in every case and doesn't do anything for incorrectly located servers but you could follow a procedure like this to see if you can gain some compatibility: Set your Geo-Filter location in the ocean with settings to ensure you would only get servers in that location (i.e. Geo-Latency, Ping Assist & Fast Search disabled, Strict Mode enabled) Ensure the Geo-Filter is enabled in this way prior to the game/client/console being open Launch the game If you don't get past the game menu then look at the Geo-Filter Map (fully zoomed out) for a blocked icon (this can appear and disappear very quickly so if you don't see it, restart the game and try again) Add the blocked server to your allow list - this should then allow you past the menu Ideally you would repeat steps 5-6 after rebooting the game quite a few times to get all the servers involved in this process but as mentioned this can be A LOT. Assuming you can now go through to the menu with the Geo-Filter in the ocean you'll be able to connect whatever your Geo-Filter settings Then you can check if you can filter the game - unfortunately in terms of the user side there isn't much you can do if this doesn't work - there may well be more authentication servers (in which case you can follow a similar process by trying to search and looking for servers that appear blocked but you would need to be careful in order to only allow auth servers and not game servers otherwise you'll just get into servers you don't want all the time) or servers that are mislocated which is impacting the search. Hopefully that provides some insight into how you can do it a little yourself but also why it's not as easy as just letting you go for it, it's a time consuming and repetitive process.

Oh stfu, it was a general question.. let's not forget there was also a beta a few weeks ago.. maybe they had the server ip's then.. If you don't have an answer, move tf on.

Basically common sense really, not difficult.

YT_LowPingKing Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Rumor has it that Microsoft is finally using Azure servers for Call of Duty. I think this may be the case as there are some new locations that have never appeared before. Like @DanologyUK mentioned if you played the beta the servers will be in the same spot. Black ops 6 will be a decent indicator of where servers should be. You can always have your geofilter page open and the moment you load into multiplayer you'll see every server available worldwide for a few seconds. You can click individual servers to see what the best ping is ETC. iOrcus and CaSpA 2
Trinibad Posted November 14 Posted November 14 i geofence the same servers as bo6 and it works perfect Netduma Fraser and Krush 2
