It does already support it, do this:

  1. Quit the application/game/client completely
  2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
  3. If you're on PC then give it the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager
  4. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
  5. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter
  6. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like
  7. Wait 2 minutes
  8. Boot up application/game/client

Does it work then?

Hi the problem is that even though you see the servers populate, there is a server located in oklamha city that it connects to first (outside of the filter) and i think this server bypasses the filtering and connects me to regular servers

So on the map it's showing this server in Oklahoma city and then a controller icon outside your radius also? Disable Geo-Latency, does it work better then?

Didn't work @Netduma Fraser

I can confirm Oklahoma server (1GAUTR) pops up as an active-allowed server but I am never connected to it.

TBH I don't even know what server I am in.  I disabled Geo Latency as you suggested in another thread and I'll let you know.

Here is a screenshot with the issue:

I have Geofilter on UAE and SA servers , the Host says Oklahoma with a ridiculously low ping and my in game ping shows ~35 ms meaning I am somewhere within EU. Probably Amsterdam.

My GeoLatency is off.

It's a German server so it's a mislocated server, I'll get the team to correct it. Make sure you follow the steps I mentioned again, as you're on a console actually shut it down (not in standby/instant on), make sure the Geo-Filter is enabled before you turn on the console and do not change Geo-Filter settings while on the game. Ping Assist should also be off and try just with the normal radius and moving your location to force the server you want or do the country selection instead.

That Oklahoma problem is a recurring issue as there were a mountain of they dislocated servers there for call of duty too.

Mine wouldn't connect to them if they were outside my zones mind you.

I have PC set as console. In game it finds a match, starts loading, than backing to main menu. Can't connect with filtering ON. Also with SP I feel like dying behind corners more often.

Does it appear to only be blocking when it tries loading into a match then? Can you see an icon on the map before that happens? SP may not always be needed

@Netduma Fraser The Ping Heatmap shows Dallas BF6 servers at 26 ping, but Geofiltering Dallas still connects me to Oklahoma City (which also says 25-32 steady ping) but my in game ping is always at 60+. What's the deal? This both with the device labeled as a PC and following your original instructions to make it a Playstation Device.

Please provide the ID of the server shown on the Geo-Filter when you connect to it. It could be mislocated and not able to ascertain the real ping, it's also possible the game may be including processing delay in their ping calculation

Does this screenshot include the ID's? Sorry I'm kinda new to this.

Is there a reason other players would have 12-30 ping (as denoted by the in game overlay) while mine is showing 60+? It definitely feels like my ping is higher than most players.

I couldn't say, I don't know under what circumstances you've got those servers there for, if they're all for the same reason you've mentioned then that's fine we'll take a look.

There could be an infinite number of reasons, I really can't give you a specific answer on that one.

Probably better to make a new topic and we can dive into things in a bit more detail.

After my previous post a week or so ago, I've also been having this same recurring issue, ping heatmap says I'm pinging one thing, in-game says much higher for Cod & BF, at this point i'm about to do testing with everything just off, geo filter, steady ping, etc and see what that does, because the two never match up. Was having this issue with Valorant earlier where it says chicago is my best ping 30, I get in game and set my only server to chicago, it says 50, connect in game, dumaos says i'm in okalahoma city and ping is 70? Why all the hoops, I just want low steady ping

I've noticed the Oklahoma issue as well. I'm in Colorado and it always says I'm connecting to Oklahoma. However that's obviously not the case.

When you load into the battlefield 6 menu keep an eye on the Geofilter page you'll see the servers populate. Then use your simple or custom Geofilter settings.

This also works with Call of Duty and other games. You load into the multiplayer portion of the game and watch the main geofilter page and you'll see the servers.

Sometimes there can be discrepancy in the way that DumaOS sees ping. Most of the time this results in the ping being lower on DumaOS than in game. This is normal. Some games have added processing that isn't picked up by DumaOS.

That said the ping heat map is a good place to start. Or load into the multiplayer section while watching the geofilter. Then you should be able to click on individual servers and see what the ping is. Some games ping doesn't work though. So it's better to rely on the ping heat map for those.

You can see in my two screenshots one of the Oklahoma server and one of the Los Angeles. When playing BF6 I'm actually using the LA server which is direct. However the Oklahoma server which shows up as Traced is always there as well.

It's very weird and I've never seen anything quite like it before.

Basically ignore the Oklahoma & find the best servers for you.

Hope that makes sense and it's helpful it's really early in the morning. Need more coffee!
