Reykc9510 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Why does the jitter fluctuate from 730 to 10 pm ridiculously high? I called my internet provider. And they said that they don't throttle the internet.I have everything hardwired, although I don't lose my connection speed. The jitter is terrible. What can I do to fix it if anything?
Tony Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago @Reykc9510 Hey 👋 where do you live ? I have the same problem !!!! My jitter is high and my ping too and after 10 or 11pm it’s normal !

DARKNESS Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago @Reykc9510It should be straightforward to verify—schedule a tech appointment for the time the issue arises and demonstrate it using PingPlotter reports connected directly to the box, unit, ONT, or modem. How are you measuring jitter exactly?
Tony Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago @Reykc9510 My closest server is in Florida too … This problem appeared in April for me

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted 5 hours ago Administrators Posted 5 hours ago I can say with 99.9% certainty that its peak time congestion, the more subscribers they have in one area the worse it will be. There isn't much you can do really as its on their side. Switching to an ISP that is less popular in your area would likely improve it but if you're in quite a built up area you may have the same issue. Reykc9510 1
