Reykc9510 Posted Friday at 12:54 AM Posted Friday at 12:54 AM Why does the jitter fluctuate from 730 to 10 pm ridiculously high? I called my internet provider. And they said that they don't throttle the internet.I have everything hardwired, although I don't lose my connection speed. The jitter is terrible. What can I do to fix it if anything?
Tony Posted Friday at 01:42 AM Posted Friday at 01:42 AM @Reykc9510 Hey đź‘‹ where do you live ? I have the same problem !!!! My jitter is high and my ping too and after 10 or 11pm it’s normal !Â

DARKNESS Posted Friday at 02:16 AM Posted Friday at 02:16 AM @Reykc9510It should be straightforward to verify—schedule a tech appointment for the time the issue arises and demonstrate it using PingPlotter reports connected directly to the box, unit, ONT, or modem. How are you measuring jitter exactly?
Tony Posted Friday at 02:26 AM Posted Friday at 02:26 AM @Reykc9510 My closest server is in Florida too … This problem appeared in April for meÂ

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Friday at 10:04 AM Administrators Posted Friday at 10:04 AM I can say with 99.9% certainty that its peak time congestion, the more subscribers they have in one area the worse it will be. There isn't much you can do really as its on their side. Switching to an ISP that is less popular in your area would likely improve it but if you're in quite a built up area you may have the same issue. Reykc9510 1
Tony Posted Friday at 03:28 PM Posted Friday at 03:28 PM @Netduma Fraser Salut Fraser !

Tony Posted Friday at 03:49 PM Posted Friday at 03:49 PM @Reykc9510Â Hi Fraser! I think there's a problem with the Florida/Miami servers because I don't live in Florida, I live in the Bahamas and therefore I don't have the same internet provider as @Reykc9510! There must be a problem with the servers, is that possible? In that case, is there anything we can do? Thanks, Fraser

Thanks, Fraser It's not an issue specific to one internet provider, it could happen wherever you are if there are enough people in your area. It could also be that routing is redirected through a slower path at peak times but either way I don't think there is anything you can do on your side. Reykc9510 and Tony 1 1
