11ZEUS11 Posted August 16 Posted August 16 I’ve been having issues with hit reg is been a year I think something is off I’ve tried smarboost congestion control everithing I shoot first and die first my isp is liberty pr 1gig internet plan I’m in puerto rico but the servers are far away from anygame I’m a little frustrated can anyone help
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 16 Administrators Posted August 16 Really your limiting factor is your location, being on an island is not great for efficient routing to servers, however: What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST? What games are you playing? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter?
DARKNESS Posted August 16 Posted August 16 @11ZEUS11If you're in Puerto Rico, the best region to set your filter to is likely Florida since it's the nearest area with the most servers.

The Sercom should be in bridge mode or have the R3 in its DMZ. The Xbox if you want it to can be in the R3 DMZ but not the Sercom. You've entered the speeds on the router as 573 Download & 421 Upload - change this to what you pay for in Speed Test > Advanced otherwise Congestion Control won't make any difference, that's why you've had to throttle so low to see any differences. Once done then re-fine-tune your percentages How have you setup SmartBOOST? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter?

My internet speed varies between 500 and 600 so that’s an isp issue and it’s unaceptable there going to check this week if there is a problem but I’m not getting the speed that I’m paying maybe that’s the issue
