DayDay
Hey so I just received my NetDuma R3 router about a week ago. And I will say all of the features on it work fantastic and met my expectations. The one thing that failed on me was my internet speed. I'm supposed to be getting at 1 Gbps internet speed. I was getting about 800-900 on my old cheap basic router. But on the NetDuma which is a 250$ router I'm getting anywhere from 30-250 Mbps. I've tried resetting everything multiple times. I just need a troubleshooting guide that I know will fix this issue. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 5 Administrators Share Posted June 5 What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST? Are you testing via ethernet or WiFi?
DayDay
• Its a spectrum modem • Yes I entered the speeds into the router. •I have it setup to where my PlayStation 5 is prioritized and I get low speeds when I do a connection test on my PlayStation. And yes my PlayStation is connected via wire.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 10 Administrators Share Posted June 10 Is it a pure modem? I.e. no WiFi Congestion Control is in Ping Optimizer > Advanced, how is that set? What speeds do you get on a wired PC to speedtest.net?
