XR1000v2 - 1.1.022

Issues with Traffic Prioritization. No Red indicator and zero packet counts when playing games on Xbox. Currently trying to get Warzone to work, have tried using various manual ports for Warzone with no luck. Have also tried the presets relating to CoD and Warzone too.

The only time I can get the red indicator to light up and count packets is when using the default setting at the top, but this doesn’t seem to prioritise the Xbox and probably makes it worse infact (I’m not sure if it mistakenly prioritises a different device, such as a TV) , I read online that preset only works when using wireless?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Hi, so I’ve tried Xbox > Games Console > Normal (default), but that also doesn’t work

Check the IP of the Xbox on the device itself, then double check the IP on the Device Manager for the device you think it is, do the IPs match? If not find it then re-name it and add that one to prioritization.

What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode

Are ALL devices connected to the XR?

What are the speeds you pay for/receive?

Have you entered those speeds into the router?

Can you provide a screenshot of the QoS page please?

How is the Xbox connected, via ethernet or WiFi? Is it connected directly or going through an AP/switch etc?

I use a BT modem set to bridge mode, which has no other devices connected to it, so yes absolutely everything goes through the XR.

I get around 30Mbps Download and 10Mbps Upload, which is annoying the fastest available in my area. Those settings are entered into the router.

And the Xbox is connected directly to the router via an Ethernet cable.

Does the Geo-Filter show servers with that same console/device added? When playing does Network Monitor show traffic for that same device?

Have you done any port forwarding rules for the device or put it in the DMZ? Have you done a Traffic Controller rule for the device?

So I’ve checked the Geo Filter and it doesn’t look to be popping up with any server information, even though I’ve supposedly set it up for that device (the Xbox). So maybe that is linked to the Prioritization issue too?

The Network Monitor does work and accurately shows the amount of data the Xbox is using, so it’s definitely the correct device.

In terms of Port Forwarding and DMZ, no I haven’t set anything up, nor have I got a Traffic Control rule.

Thanks

This applies to the Geo-Filter specifically, see if that gets it working, if so then check TP:

Do this:

  1. Quit the application/game/client completely
  2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
  3. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
  4. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter
  5. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like
  6. Wait 2 minutes
  7. Boot up application/game/client

Completed all the above steps, but still no icons or anything popping up on the Geo Filter Map

It doesn't really make any sense, have you done a factory reset and seen whether it still occurs after that? If it does, what settings are you changing immediately after a reset?
