  1. good evening forum! for information I wanted to know if you would add warzone 2 and MW2 to your list of games (beta will be out in days). will you also include servers in the heat map? do you think they will use existing servers such as those of warzone and mw 2019? thank you
  2. Hi Hoping for some advice on an optimal setup please, I've had a read through the docs but can't figure out the best approach. Basically, all I want is to ensure that if im gaming, the vast majority of bandwidth is directed here, with everything else just getting the bandwidth it needs as required. Before I'd read the documentation, I had changed the bandwidth allocation to about 90% for gaming, however this made every other device practically unusable - I thought this meant that it would give 90% *when* i was gaming, but it seemed to always have 90% of the bandwidth hogged even if the console was off. Having read through some docs, Ive now enabled 'Auto-enable' under congestion control. I have also added the games console under traffic prioritization. I've reset 'Bandwidth allocation' and everything is 10% - is this still going to have the same effect as before? For example, will the categories now be limited to 10% regardless in the same way gaming was hogging the bandwidth before? Is there a way of turning bandwidth allocation off? Congestion control and traffic prioritization sound like they should do the job. Thank you! Adam
  3. What would you guys use for traffic prioritization? -DumaOs classified games- (DEEP PACKET INSPECTION) Or -Games Console- Port based! plus ability to apply tags to wan! When you guys are gaming and devs please chime in! What do you guys use and why? After experimenting with both for months... I gotta say DPI feels so much better than Games Console. I am on lan and I did apply to wan and select normal. I'm on PS4. Even though the ps4 is based on ports... DumaOS Classified games seems to be the 🏆 over games console and it's features.. no placebo either🤣
  4. Hello Netduma Family, was curios if i was to port forward & a game used tcp ports that i wanted to prioritize what would i set my traffic prioritization to? i have used upnp, love everything about this router & dumaos software, i just want to understand how to prioritize traffic thats (TCP) (SHOWN BELOW) this Port forwarding Protocol table for battlefront is used as an (example.) If i was wanting to prioritize whats shown below. What would my traffic prioritization be set to? upnp would only open 3659 udp and prioritize 3659 udp. BUT i want to prioritize 3659 tcp as thats shown down below as well E.G* source port 1024-65535 for both? TCP & UDP? Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017) - Playstation 4 TCP: 1935, 3478-3480, (3659), 10000-29999, 42100-42200 UDP: 3074, (3659), 3478-3479, 6000 Thank You! + if you're using adblocker disable it or pause it on your gaming device ONLY. + if you're using (upnp) disbale dumaos games and use games console select (gaming/voice) & select Apply to wan ( this is must have settings for gamers ) + if you do port forward and dont care about prioritizing tcp ports select games console, select (gaming & voice) & Apply To Wan.
  5. Hey guys, Just wondering if there is a way to prioritise my PC's traffic while playing Warzone with the anit-bufferbloat while I have a VPN connected. Without the VPN I can just pop in the ports for Warzone and it prioritises my PC every time but as soon as I connect my VPN to a nearby city, it doesn't seem to recognise those ports anymore. I've looked into the hybrid VPN and connected my external VPN to the router, also adding those same ports the "dont run these ports through my VPN section" however, still didn't recognise my PC with that "red light" not coming on. Very frustrating not having warzone on the recognised games list.. Everything works perfectly when my VPN is disconnected but as soon as I turn it on, even a Zoom call on another device gives me lag and packet bursts. All with 100mbps! If anyone knows the way around this, it would be much appreciated! Thank you.
  6. Hi Netduma guys, I am currently having issues streaming some services like HBO Max and Disney+. I want to configure the traffic prioritization for these two services but they are not in the list, I wanted to know how I could configure these services in traffic prioritization selector advance. If you can help me with this it would be great, Thanks, Exodia

  8. I am wanting to set up traffic prioritization for my PC while playing Call of Duty Cold War. What is the best way to set this up? Thanks!
  9. I have a XR1000 with firmware version During the process of creating a prioritization rule, the wizard will ask you to select a "Wireless Type" Normal (default) Video Gaming/Voice It will also ask if you would like to Apply the rule to WAN (off by default) I have been unable to find details to help explain what impact these options will have to the rule being created. Can someone please help explain what these options will effect? Thank you The goal I am achieving: The default DumaOS classified games rule has been working very well at identifying game traffic on the network. I would also like to create a prioritization rule to prioritize all VoIP software for all devices on the network as well. Such as Discord, teamspeak, xbox app party chat, etc. Thank you guys for your help and support.
  10. Hello NetDuma, I am currently having issues with the Traffic Prioritization on NetDumaOS, it turns on when playing call of duty on my PS4 but when i stop playing it stays on updating background packets. The PS4 isnt in Rest Mode or anything, so cant work out how this is happening. A reboot of my router resolves this but just comes back the next time I game. I have tried unticking DumaOS Classified Games but still remains on, it seems only way to get rid of it is a reboot on my router. Please can someone help me I have attached some screen shots of my setup. If you can assist it would be great, Thanks, Mas
  11. So the auto detect doesn't come on for Minecraft. I am hosting a server, and four others on this router connect as well. I set the ports for the server, which then disallowed those ports for any other devices, and doesn't show activity. Is there a reason for this?
  12. Hi, I have just purchased a Netgear XR500 and I am trying to set up traffic prioritisation for Rocket League. I play on PC. I have enabled "DumaOS Classified Games" and the router still does not recognise nor prioritise any traffic. Count is at 0. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers
