Hello Fraser, 

then I did not try firmware 4 on netduma r2, because I think I found the right balance between down and up in the qos with firmware 3.3. The only problem is that after a few days, as mentioned above, the router gets flooded and I have to reboot it, so to avoid having it flooded, I always reboot it before playing, although it's a nuisance, but in this way it's all very performant! Can you tell me why this happens?

What do you mean by flooded exactly?

are simply feelings, in practice the router does not perform as well as when I reboot it, but I do not understand why since I do not change any configuration, let alone add devices

I can't really give any advice then based on feelings if there isn't any degradation in measurable stats like ping, speeds etc

I have also said in previous posts that after a few days the speedtests and latency tests are all out of whack and I have to reboot, what more can I say?

Time 1PM - router loses internet connection, always the same devices, always the same configuration, only difference is that I did not reboot it before playing…

It seems to be renewing the public IP a lot, what is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R2? E.g R2 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode

Would you be able to get the ISP to extend your public IP lease time? I'd say ask them for a static public IP but they'd very likely charge you for that

Initially I had a static ip, then I asked for the dynamic one, thinking it was better for other online services such as streaming. By asking for a static ip what are the pros and cons?

A static IP allows you to host without having to continually change your settings.
Dynamic IPs are generally shared...a port range divided among multiple users! CGNAT

Pretty much as above! In this scenario as well, if the issue is due to your public IP constantly renewing then a static IP would prevent that renewal happening and hopefully then the issue. 

Also, another benefit, if you have anything at home that you'd like to access outside your home such as a home server (or other non 'smart' devices) for example then it would be easier to access it away from home as the IP would never change.
