Are you saying the router reboots itself when you click save after entering the ID or it disconnects then reconnects without it being saved? 16 hours ago, V1k1 said: big shout out to Fraser and the Netduma team. I received my warrantied replacement R3 and it's working as it should be. The new R3 is in the same spot as the old and using the same cables, etc, and the USB and Wifi bands are back. Old unit definitely had something internally wrong whether it was hardware or firmware related. I'm adding a TP-Link Deco router to my network so use as an AP to offload certain devices from the R3. R3 is primarily to manage the network overall and primarily used for the wired PCs for gaming. Internet -> Modem -> R3 -> Wired to our gaming PCs R3 -> Deco in AP mode -> Most Wifi Devices The idea is to use DumaOS features for the entire network. I'm wondering if there's any benefit to flipping the Deco with the R3 and let the R3 primarily manage the wired PCs and the Deco manage the rest (Internet -> Modem -> Deco -> R3 -> PCs). Would bufferbloat and QoS features not run as well / more likely to interrupt gaming? Great to hear! Correct, if the R3 can't control the whole network then it won't be as effective in that sense 3 hours ago, Rodolfo Lima said: Uma pergunta por gentileza, é possível fazer redefinição se fábrica pelo smartphone? You'll definitely want to do a factory reset, it's quite a big change from the previous version, once you've done that it should be more stable. Close the tab after initiating the reset and wait 4 minutes before accessing it again.

Doesnt matter if i try accesing the router from my pc browser or phone browser, the phone app also gives "Unknown error occured" when i try to log in. I always get that screen, i reboot the router then it works, but only for a couple of hours maybe one day max, then the problem comes back.. Getting sick of having to reboot the router everytime i want to log in to see or change anything.. I also did factory reset after the update.. In the upper right corner at the exclamation mark where it says" Some Router features are not running" sometimes i get "Telemetry" sometimes "---". Also the system log spams "Time went backwards" continously every couple of seconds. I did set the right timezone tho. Beside the geofilter, the smartboost tab also doesnt show anything, it gives the tutorial popup to "To get started, press + blablabla".. How am i supossed to know that the router does what its supposed to do if the settings dont even show untill i reboot then? xD Proud R3 Owner
Jiachen Dai
Hi, I am new user for Netduma R3, I got it on 25th, April. When I use it I update to newest. And it works really good on Friday, I can use map to choose jPN then I can play it, but in next day I can't do that anymore, even if I use map Geo-Filter to choose JPN or Korean, when I open my COD BO6 on PS5, it still choose far me in USA servers and its 86 ping. I can do nothing, so I need help! and this is problem one. Problem two is: I test my router is download on 746.3 so It should be around 84.625 MB/S, but in the steam or other game or on my PS5 only speed have 1/4, so I don't know why? Problem 3 is also on Friday I can use map Geo-Fliter at the same time I can also use gaming vpn on my PS5, in Saturday when I use Geo-Fliter to choose JPN(it not work) and also I use gaming vpn to choose JPN, and in bo6 my ping is above 235 ping. That's wired, the reason is when I conncet to JPN directly, it should be 105-115 ping. So I don't know its vpn's problem or Geo-Fliter problem, and also I can't open my VPN menu to choose which servers, until I use my another router then it works. So I need help on these 3 Pronlem. And this map I don't know why its not full, because we can see the Korean but there is no JPN servers, only when I can see JPN is when I get my R3 in first day. Disable Geo-Latency and keep Ping Assist at 0, that should keep servers within your radius only. Don't change Geo-Filter settings while on the game and make sure it is enabled before you launch the game. What do you get on speedtest.net via a wired PC? When using a VPN you will get a higher ping, especially if you are choosing a far away router. I don't know what VPN menu to choose server means exactly

As long as you're getting expected speeds that way then the router won't be limiting you, you can ignore the inbuilt speed test and enter your speeds manually. Oh I see, on HybridVPN as you need to use a configuration file so that it can be compatible with multiple VPNs we couldn't provide an option to select the server. You'll need to download the new config for the other server you want to connect to then enter it into the router.

Geo-Latency needs to be disabled, the Geo-Filter should be enabled before launching the game and don't change Geo-Filter settings when you're on the game already. Enter your expected speeds in manually and try again - ignore the built in speed test. razvanth21
Hi. I set up my R3 router today and wanted to give a try to the GeoFiltering feature. However, I've set some custom filtering (see the screenshot), but the game will still connect to servers outside the filtered area. Disabling geo-latency will then fail to establish the connection to the server (i.e. the game kicks me after finding opponent). The game is EAFC25. DumaOS sees the Zurich server as the best. Also, the internet speed via speedtest is lower than what I was getting with my old router (from 1Gbps to 500Mbps both download and upload). Can you advise here? More, the ping from the DumaOS is much lower than the one I get in game. Thanks! Edit: I've tweaked with the settings and I ended with some unrecognized server in Greece (don't think there is an actual one there). Geo-Latency was off this time with strict mode OFF. edit2: Seems like I was doing it wrongly, while having the game open. Geofiltering works, but speed test is still showing lower speeds than usual. Glad you were able to sort out your Geo-Filter issue. For speeds, ignore the inbuilt speed test and manually input your expected/paid for speeds. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Do you have ALL devices connected to the R3 or some still connected to the ISP modem/router?
