RadRoy
When running Express VPN on the NetDuma R3 it changes the PS5 Nat type from Type 2 to Type 3. Any suggestions how to get back to Type 2? I have set up the DMZ to point to the PS5. Thanks. Edited Sunday at 02:06 PM by RadRoy Added another screenshot. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Sunday at 06:04 PM Administrators Share Posted Sunday at 06:04 PM That's expected behavior, you won't get an Open NAT using a VPN
Terpinator710
Why are you even using express vpn when gaming.. you’re just asking yourself for even more latency & lag issues lol. if you’re playing cod, I’d look for an actual cod vpn that doesn’t increase your game ping.. 🤝😂
thisisreallife
Speaking of I've got NAT type 2 on PS5. How can I get NAT type 1?

NAT Type 2 is open, it just means you're behind the router, it's exactly the same as Type 1 otherwise. It will only show Type 1 when you're directly connected to your modem with the console.
