Minor issue with party chat? BO6

So whenever my son joins me I can hear him and he can't hear me. We both can hear folks in the lobby talking but it just doesn't work to chat to each other. I've tried unmuting and such. He is on xbox I'm on ps5. Cross chat is enabled for both of us. Not sure what I am missing? We've had it work before too, so I'm real lost on what it could be. If anyone has any insight leave it in the comments. Maybe you've had the same problem, idk. Also we are both in the same household, under the same roof! Thanks!

This could be due to crossplay, we don't see any servers on the map for it for some reason - presumably if you disable the Geo-Filter it works fine?

Like I said it worked before with the geo on.

We did a cloud update recently so that could be the cause - are you seeing anything on the map when it happens?

Not sure. I'll try again and pay more attention to it and update the cloud too. I'll give feedback as well. Thanks Fraser

Well yeah, if you're chat banned they will prevent people from being able to hear you. Presumably because people have reported you for whatever reason

Lol, isn't that communism? Cool I'll wait out my jail sentence and hopefully it work. Wanna play some Warzone with my son. Should still be able to talk to folks in my circle at least. Thanks for your time as usual Fraser!

I don't know about that but they'll have their terms that they think you must have broken. No worries, not sure if both consoles have Discord but that could be an alternative option

What I do with friends with playstation party;

Geo off

Start ps party untill everybody joined

Set up geo

Start game

And works like a charm!
