Requesting access

It's not necessary now as DumaOS 3.3 appears to be available on the newest public version for the XR1000 so make sure you're on the latest and you're good to go

Please add me to the list

It's not needed anymore, the latest public version you can get from the above link has it.

Forgive me, but what are we looking for on that page to get Duma 3.3?

Under 'Firmware and Software Downloads' it says
"Firmware Version 1.0.2.86" with "Latest" next to it.

My current firmware seems to be 1.0.64.18_5.0.18 and Duma 3.1.1

Furthermore, I downloaded the XR1000-V1.0.2.86.zip, and when I extracted it, these are the files:
-XR1000-V1.0.2.86_2.1.40.chk
-XR1000-V1.0.2.86_Release_Notes.htm

According to 'Nighthawk Pro Gaming Router Model XR1000' user manual on page 151 it says
"Note: The correct firmware file uses an .img extension."

.chk files are usually recovery fragment files

Any help would be appreciated

The firmware you have downloaded is correct and is the latest firmware. Upload the .chk file on the firmware update page on the router

I would love access to the BETA, though I do have one question: have there been very many reports of users suffering the bricking issue that the XR500 ran into? To be honest, that was the only reason I bit the bullet, and upgraded to the XR1000v2. At the time, I had to purchase it through Amazon, and honestly, I'm kind of saddened by the simple stuff the 500 always got right, and the 1000v2 still hasn't managed to fix itself. Everytime I tinker with it, I wind up with no Internet connection. For the few of you that have seen this on reddit, or even the old forums, I apologize. The main issue is that when I set up a network (Comcast/Xfinity internet), it always gets the DNS servers wrong, along with the subnet mask. I have used a wired laptop, a Pixel 8 Pro, and the even a garbage laptop that some online university that my sister was "attending", running an extremely old version of windows. I can set the subnet mask, and primary and secondary DNS servers through Xfinity, or the tried and true Google DNS servers, and everything is wrong on the GUI, but if you pull down from the top of your Pixel, and look at the DNS server listed, it's actually correct! Devices all show up 255.255.255.0, while the GUI usually shows 255.255.248.0. Sometimes, while gaming, I will have great pings to dedis, but in game, get melte by someone who hasn't even loaded on my end. To make matters worse, I only have my laptop running, or my phone, so I can see the geo-filter, which is only applied to my PS5, so in theory, this should not be happening.

I'll start a new topic about this if the mods wish, but in general, I would love access to the beta firmware.

As above you can just upgrade to the latest public version which has DumaOS 3.3 included now. Not sure what you mean regarding the XR500 bricking exactly. Not sure what you mean about the DNS either but individual devices will show the DNS as the router LAN IP.

You're right. My bad. I just thought that the XR500 bricking issue was kind of a known thing. At any rate, thank you for your support over the years. I've read a lot of stuff you've written here and there, all of it is top notch stuff.
