Tripper
I heard that you guys are merging the Ping Map with Geo-Filter. I was wondering if you could add an option to limit the number of IPs processed by the Geo-Filter. This could help reduce the processing load, prevent potential errors, and avoid crashes. Example of error I get. user.warn traceroute-wsapp: RPC call 'geomap_ip' exception 'ERROR: Validation failed for 'ips' stack traceback: ?: in function '__new__' ?: in function '?' ?: in function <?:469> (tail call): ? ?: in function 'validate' ?: in function <?:123> ?: in function <?:371> [C]: in function 'xpcall' ?: in function 'try' ?: in function <?:335> [C]: in function 'run' ?: in function <?:427> [C]: in function 'xpcall' ?: in function 'try' ?: in function <?:268> (tail call): ? ?: in function <?:57> [C]: in function 'xpcall' ?: in main chunk [C]: ?' I don't really use the Geo-Filter to block anything; I only have it on for Steady Ping. Most games have a server browser, so it's not needed for me. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 25 Administrators Share Posted November 25 We're looking into it, it's by no means a done deal and it may well be too difficult but we'd like to yes. Is that error actually producing issues for you? Tripper

Yes, I'm on the R2, but it doesn't matter which model; I'll show you an example of how to break the Geo-Filter. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 26 Administrators Share Posted November 26 Thanks, I will pass it on - realistically though you're never going to see that many connections at once when gaming
