Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 21, 2024 Administrators Posted November 21, 2024 Take your PC out of the DMZ, that is a major security issue, it may also be contributing to the issue. If it happens again please grab the log and I can take a look.
steb Posted November 21, 2024 Author Posted November 21, 2024 thanks for the reply mate . i thought that was the right thing to do to quickly get open nats .. okay so have done see how that goes . so next problem// i have 2 pcs / xbox / what need open nats / port forwarding it seems it will only let me add one device at a time / for instance 3074 need it open on all my machines so cod is open nat . and as i say it will only let me add one device in .. how do i sort that / and lastly i have ipvanish / i tried and failed to get it working via modum is is possible or not with vanish? cheers oh and were do i get log ??
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 21, 2024 Administrators Posted November 21, 2024 You definitely wouldn't get an Open NAT using the DMZ - you'd have to do 3074 for one device, 3075 for another, 3076 for the other. Can you provide the config you're using for the VPN please? The log is in Settings > Troubleshooting.
steb Posted November 22, 2024 Author Posted November 22, 2024 morning so at least its kept downloading after removing DMZ from pcs .. as for the port forwading / can you explain a bit more because it make no sence to me if i need 3074/ your saying 3075 and 6 / obviously other machines are moderate now other than my main pc / how to go about sorting the nats out on the others?? i think thats what your asking for .. am pritty useless when i comes to networking ... client dev tun proto udp remote man-a01.ipvanish.com 443 resolv-retry infinite nobind persist-key persist-tun persist-remote-ip ca ca.ipvanish.com.crt verify-x509-name man-a01.ipvanish.com name auth-user-pass comp-lzo verb 3 auth SHA256 cipher AES-256-CBC keysize 256 tls-cipher TLS-DHE-RSA-WITH-AES-256-CBC-SHA:TLS-DHE-DSS-WITH-AES-256-CBC-SHA:TLS-RSA-WITH-AES-256-CBC-SHA
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 22, 2024 Administrators Posted November 22, 2024 It can be difficult to get an Open NAT on multiple devices, I'd suggest 3074 for the main PC, 3075 for the second PC and 3076 for the Xbox as on the Xbox itself you can also make it so it uses an alternate port which will help. You just need to make those port forwarding rules for those devices so mirror the rule you made for the main PC for the other devices and just change the port number. That's only part of the config, there should be more, if they gave you files please upload what you received.
steb Posted November 22, 2024 Author Posted November 22, 2024 cool i try that with the ports later . il have attached config folder . see if you can make heads or tales of it //on enigma i just add my password to that what i pasted put in my certificate and away i go . thanks configs.zip

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 16, 2024 Administrators Posted December 16, 2024 It is generally that color scheme, should be able to see the circle lines within it though, I can't tell if that's there or not from your photo but won't affect functionality.
Krush Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 6 hours ago, steb said: my smart boost radar map / seems to of gone half black / Hi! I think this is a graphical addition to differentiate favored DPI traffic from current DPI traffic. On the left half circle you see the prioritized traffic and on the right half circle the non-prioritized DPI traffic! So here everything is fine 😉 Netduma Fraser 1
steb Posted December 17, 2024 Author Posted December 17, 2024 cheers mate . sure its only gone that like latley . . other main thing was testing it last night .. this has been like this for a ili while .. so on my geo filter in game its not lighting up / its not showing any server / info / nothing / " it use to work perfectley weather its the new fw or not i dono" just know it will never show anything / noticed some times games are not being prioritized when they should be ..

Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better. You won't be able to stabilize/ping every server unfortunately but we're working on a new ping method which may make this more reliable in future.
steb Posted January 20, 2025 Author Posted January 20, 2025 hi mate / pick your brains again .. so say i play plants v zombies gw2 a few others . how do i go about prioritising games what aint prioritised arnt on the list ?? i read another post you were helping someone same problem 2 years ago tho and i dont understand properly to be able to do it so thought id ask .

So if you're on the very latest R3 Early Access version then now there is a feature called Behavioral Identification which basically means even though it doesn't know what game you're playing it can tell you're playing a game and will then prioritize it. The other option is to just prioritize the device you're playing on
steb Posted January 21, 2025 Author Posted January 21, 2025 yes am on the latest early acesss version / next problem i seem to have is playing fortnite . my geo location is set around the uk . can play one or 2 games at first there at london / then suddenly will start to put me in france.. frankfukt .. i tried blocking them . but they seem to just come back on blocked .. realisticly i dont understand why is alowing to go out the uk .. for instance cod it just takes a while sometimes for a game searching coz am only in uk .. if you circle is set to small it just says unable to find a data center /// so am baffled whats going on with fortnite / is there any way to fix it so it will not go out the uk?? cheers
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 21, 2025 Administrators Posted January 21, 2025 It's because you have Geo-Latency enabled, though I would suggest keeping it enabled otherwise you'll block a server outside the radius and have a very long wait for it to kick you back to the lobby but you can try that if you wish by disabling it
steb Posted January 21, 2025 Author Posted January 21, 2025 whats geo latency?? weres that ? thats why its going out of radius?.. odd its only fortnite being like this ..
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 21, 2025 Administrators Posted January 21, 2025 In the Geo-Filter menu you can disable it there. It can happen with other games as well but due to how Fortnite filters (I alluded to it above) it's going to favor you getting into a game rather than kicking you out even if the server wouldn't be good.
steb Posted March 11, 2025 Author Posted March 11, 2025 hi mate am back again / i have serious problems now were bye at first getting ping fluchating when in game / when swiching iptv chanells over .. it will go from 10ms to 50 and slowly back to 10 flick station over and same thing happens if i download something my in game ping/ pc is all over // its set to 80% congestion/ i have downgraded but the problem sitll on going been messing since friday it never use to like this all use to be good but now its like so how do i fix it? i have tried turning off my vpn / reset device / downgraded . its still doing the same thing . its odd as youtube 4k streaming is fine when playing cod my ping stays on 10ms / but not iptv . tested my isp modum doing the same thing and thats solid on 10ms so its telling me its something to do with the r3 it went like this friday / tried disabling / smart boost no difrence still bounces about when swiching chanell .. i hope theres a fix its next to useless at the mo thanks
