KelboLive Posted yesterday at 12:03 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:03 AM This is now my second netduma r3 that has failed, it no longer powers on at all. My first lost all ability to connect via the LAN ports. My old xr1000 powers on completely fine via the same power adapter. I'm at a complete loss for the amount of issues I've had with this router for the amount I have paid for it. I need this rectified as my entire household is ran via internet. I've been extremely disappointed at the QA of this product seeing as I am now on my second router that has completely failed. Let me know how we can rectify this situation. I can't see how you received two dead routers, the odds of that must be a few thousand to one. Did both routers come out of the box not powering up? I did not receive two dead routers out of the box, first one had the LAN ports fail after 6 months, I received a replacement a couple months ago that now refuses to even power on. I'm sorry if my OP was confusing.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted 9 hours ago Administrators Share Posted 9 hours ago This is very odd, I can probably count on one hand the amount of R3 hardware failures we've had and you have 2 of them, it's certainly not a common occurrence. Did you have a power outage or anything like that? If you try a different outlet or adapter does it power on?

No power outage, was watching TV when I suddenly lost connection, walked out to reboot my equipment and no lights whatsoever on my r3. Will try another adaptor when I get home. Willing to ship both of these paperweights back to you all so you could figure out what the issue is, very frustrating. Netduma Fraser
jame0174
Not to jump in but your post states you used the xr1000 adapter.I have used a wrong adapter on a different router and accidently fried it.Not saying that's the problem.I would make sure you have the plug that came with the r3. I appreciate the response but I was only confirming that the xr1000 is being powered by the r3's adapter, thus showing the adapter itself is fine.
