Hi @Netduma Fraser,  hello everyone. I have owned the R3 router for a long time, and I would like to join the early access group, to test new firmware and highlight its strengths or weaknesses. thank you very much.

@Truegamingthat's but when you're getting kicked off the PS for example are you running a test at that point?

Yes, speeds test are 300down 30up after going out. The router kicks me off and then reconnects within 30secs.

Okay don't run the tests when you're gaming, it will disconnect you, if you don't do that then you'll be fine

I’m not running a speed test during or prior to gaming. It’s when I had to reboot the router to reset and the R3 prompted me to do so to get speeds test and set up WiFi etc. Anything connected to LAN line will disconnect from PS5 whether is within 10mins of playing online to 25mins, it eventually happens. This is something with the R3 that I just bought couple months ago. This was happening prior to the firmware update and still continues with this update. I also trouble shot by using my 5 year old nighthawk that does not have this issue and able to have smooth connection without dropping out randomly when playing online with LAN connection.

I've given you Early Access, please try this firmware and see if that resolves it: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/56332-r3-disconnections/page/14/#comment-424833

Firmware was still not successful, thought it worked, play an hour and had no issues, got off, then came back on and within 10 mins of playing got booted offline with connection loss. The connection immediately came back online once booted. Attached is my log.

As long as it is recovering itself within 5 minutes that's good and expected for that firmware, we know what that is and it is actually an indication that firmware is working. Stick with it and for the next one that won't happen.

It will lose all servers and search forever. Until I back out a few times then finally the servers come back. Then search correctly. Also it will pull out of my strict search radius if it takes to long. Never did that before update.
Only tried with call of duty

Try this:

  1. Quit the application/game/client completely
  2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
  3. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
  4. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter
  5. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like
  6. Wait 2 minutes
  7. Boot up application/game/client

Then see if it works better. If you change settings while on the game without restarting the game that will happen.

Firmware still not working after a week of use. Keeps cutting off when connected to LAN cable to PS5. Wifi is the only thing that stays connected

This firmware is not working. I uploaded this firmware, switched from wifi to LAN and played half of a game on PS5, and got booted off LAN again. WIFI works with no problem, but trying to play a game that has a better connection on LAN than wifi doesn't help. Do we have another way to fix or is this a broken router?

Is it just that device being booted off ethernet? Seems strange that it's just happening when gaming, like the Geo-Filter is blocking a server
