Cannot connect to COD servers in Filtering mode with and without Hybrid VPN On

Recommended Posts

I live in Calgary, Canada. The nearest COD server to me is Washington, US. I put that and three other servers in filtering mode. Waited for around 30 minutes. The ping goes up to 200 with VPN on and nothing happens. Tried it without VPN and same result ( nothing happened ) but ping was stuck at 89 for 30 minutes

I play on PC

I have tried so many solutions from Netduma forums and nothing seems to fix it

i have tried changing device, resyncing cloud resetting router. All that basic stuff, but nothing fixed it.

I also tried radius filter covering all American servers and I couldn’t find any games as it showed all servers Blocked by geofence. (I did not block any servers manually )

filter settings:-

strict ON

fast search OFF

 ping assist 0

auto ping OFF

Without filtering I easily find a game on all American servers including the ones I show in picture

What needs to be done here??

I am so lost, I wasted 5-6 hrs today fixing this thing but no luck

Try this:

  1. Quit the application/game/client completely
  2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
  3. Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager
  4. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
  5. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option
  6. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like
  7. Wait 2 minutes
  8. Boot up application/game/client

Then see if it works better.

@SaviSo with it disabled what locations do you connect to? You can see it on the geo just disable the filtering

@DARKNESS With it disabled I connect mostly to Chicago Server with 40 ping. And sometimes with Washington, San Francisco and Atlanta(Texas) servers

Use the Simple radius instead of the polygons and see if it works better then please. Also for the first step make sure you're quitting the actual client e.g. Steam, Battle.net from the System Tray on the PC also

With these steps I was able to find 2 games and after that same story(200 ping no match found. Used the radius by including 4 servers and nothing happened

@Netduma Fraserdo you know when we will be able to get hybrid vpn with XR1000?

Should be in the upcoming firmware which hopefully won't be too much longer

hello, we've been waiting for the beta version of the XR1000 for 8 months, I think it will never come out

It will be coming, our CEO has chased them so shouldn't be long now.

What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R2? E.g. R2 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode

By the looks of it, it has 'Advanced Security', if you access it are you able to disable it or lower it's impact and then check again?

Aaccess here then re-enable QoS if it is disabled http://192.168.77.1/dumaweb/#smartqos you'll need this page to use QoS, you can go back to the main interface for all other features.

Right click the page, then go to Inspect (Element), on the window that appears click on the Network tab. Then click the checkbox to disable cache. Then click and hold the browser refresh button, and click Empty Cache and Hard Reload. Then see if it loads correctly please.
