Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 29 Administrators Share Posted June 29 We just put out a new firmware in Early Access yesterday, try that and see if it's better: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
Alias 1aB
i seem to be having this same issue too. my speeds will go down to 200 Mbps down/up on my devices when i run a speed test. I randomly discovered this a couple of weeks ago because I noticed how slow the Xbox was downloading updates. It was only at 100 Mbps. Rebooting the router resolves this issue but I dont remember having this issue before the .219 firmware. I probably reboot the router every 3-4 days right now if I remember as I havent been spending as much time at home lately because of work. I am fortunate because I have a gigabit fiber connection, so it is not as easily noticeable. If you want to give me access to that early firmware, I can give it a shot and let you know the results. Thanks.

Alias 1aB
been 2 days so far since upgrading to .227 firmware. I would say it's working fine regarding the speeds not dropping anymore

Alias 1aB
Fraser, So 2 days later, speeds have dropped drastically. There is nothing else in my house using any bandwidth when I ran this on my desktop PC. I am going to send you the logs before I reboot the router. Maybe you can see what is causing the router to throttle speeds and let me know. Congestion control is set to 90% down /70% up and always on. Buffer bloat score is 0 or +1 ms so it's great. I have network speeds set to 850 / 850 down / up on a 950 / 950 fiber connection from ATT. I took a screenshot of the Smartboost settings. Geofilter is only setup for the Xbox. UpNp is disabled but all necessary ports are forwarded for Xbox and I get an Open NAT. IPV6 is enabled. If you need any other details, let me know. Thanks R3_2024-07-06T04_26_27.569Z_logs.txt
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 6 Administrators Share Posted July 6 Thanks for that, I'll have to pass the logs on for the team to have a look so in the meantime you can reboot/would recommend trying the version we posted last night which could help. Fuzy
Hi ! Your speed tests are carried out on which IPv6 or IPv4 protocol ?, you can see it on the ookla application by clicking on the settings/history.

Alias 1aB
so the .236 firmware has seemed to fix this issue with the speeds going down. Been 8 days now since last update /reboot/ factory reset. Honestly I have not really played any multiplayer PVP games during this time period so if that has any effect on it whatsoever, I could not tell you. FrankTheFreak
@Netduma Fraser Please add me to early access. I keep having intermittent, random data cut off for a second here and there.
