@SlamchezIf i dont catch you before the end of the day, or if you have already restarted the router. Could you try enabling Spanning Tree Protocol in the R3 advanced troubleshooting settings? Perhaps there's a loop thats happening witht the switches that is causing an issue with the R3

AHHHHHH I figured you were gone for the day and just completed the recommended update to the new early access.

I had that enabled on the last firmware but I will reenable it on this one as well.

Just had a disconnect at ~11:30am. Here's some logs. Using the Archer AX11000 until the disconnects can be resolved. Sorry but we need to have stable internet.

R3 logs.txt

Edit: just wanted to add I was able to connect to the Wi-Fi of the R3 and look at the logs off the app. I was not able to download them though, it wouldn't do anything when I pressed download logs. Also I did have Internet for a little while on the R3 but eventually that stopped as well. I got on my laptop and was able to connect to the R3 but it would randomly disconnect from the WiFi. I was able to snag the cgi-bin logs. Also I noticed in the logs the timestamps were wrong. I did have my timezone set correctly in settings.

@Netduma Jack BNo problem. I just there was a better way to say "Hey it;'s happening now. Come look". I guess it's also good that I'm on the new early access as we can test this too.

That said, I noticed that a factory reset was not quite a factory reset? As I go through and rename all the devices I'm noticing they still held on to their assigned DHCP addresses. I'm hoping that's just a side effect of them having been assigned previously and the hardware just gave them right back, even with the reset. Maybe I'm weird but I feel like that shouldn't have happened?

Hi ! If you have not restarted the device in the meantime, it is normal that the same DHCP IP is kept. 😉

@Proud R3 OwnerNoticed there's a lot of errors that relate to steadyping just before you lose connection. Just a few questions to see if i can reproduce:

  • Were you gaming / using steadyping just before this happened?
  • Do you have anything in geo-filter?
  • Were you torrenting?
  • What's your line speed?

Not to open a new topic just for one short question. Thank you! Under the router, the Mac address is 44:10:91:67:7b:e8. when I enter the Wan setting in the router, I see another Mac address and which of the two 44:10:91:67:7b:e9 is the real mac address of the router.? And can I change the mac address or is it not recommended? Thank you!

The MAC address on the bottom is the MAC of the LAN side bridge. The configurable one is the WAN side mac address

Here's the logs. This is the new early access and we lasted just under 24 hrs. There also seem to be a bunch of new things in here, I don't know if they're any help or just because it's early access. Lot of driver not found stuff.

No not gaming just hanging out watching TV with the younger kids while the older boys were at work (I'm on vacation for the 4th). I don't have anything in geo as we don't really use it honestly. We don't use torrent. My speeds to the modem are about 1200 down and 42 up. As you'd imagine speeds on the R3 are about 900 down and 40 up. I do have my Internet speed set to 800 and 30 with CC set to 75% on both. I don't use geo or steady ping, I've stopped using STP, and don't use adblock. I have my DHCP lease set to 10k.
