BucNole75
Been a long-time lurker/reader and recently decided to post the issue I'm having with my R3. Almost every day between 10:20 to 10:30pm my R3 just randomly reboots. Also, before purchasing the R3 I used a Netgear Orbi rbr50 and satelite. I turned the rbr50 into an AP to help with the Wi-Fi range. Now anytime I change the battery in my Ring doorbell the R3 reboots. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My R3 is running firmware v4.0.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 30 Administrators Share Posted May 30 That's really strange, I've not seen that before. I've added you to Early Access https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ try the firmware there and then see if you get the same issue please. Administrators Netduma Alex Posted June 5 Administrators Share Posted June 5 Hello, thanks for the report. Also, thanks for installing the Early Access firmware. We can see on our kernel panic logs that your unit has been restarting. We'd like to remotely connect to your unit to troubleshoot the problem, either that or connect via AnyDesk. Could you please open DumaOS, go to Settings > Troubleshooting and turn on Remote Access? This will allow Netduma technicians (and nobody else) to connect to your unit and see exactlty what's causing the reboot. Thanks in advance! Since updating to the beat firmware I have only had one random reboot but still having the reboots(sometimes multiples) every time I change the battery in either of my Ring cameras.
