jacksonpujols
saludos, lo que pasa es que cuando se apaga mi Netduma R2 se me borra toda la configuración que había realizado, que puedo hacer para que se guarde la configuración que allá hecho ?
DARKNESS
There no backup feature so unfortunately you have to redo the setup. What firmware version are you using? That not normal if you power it off and lose all settings.
jacksonpujols
im using 3.3.280, i just make the update recently and when my router reset all my settings gone!! im thinking go back to the other one
DARKNESS
@jacksonpujolsWell that probably normal if you were on a pretty old build you should just factory reset just in case if there any other bugs from the web interference.
jacksonpujols
It won't let me reset it to factory settings, I can't install an old version either, it won't let me do anything, all this after I update to the latest version.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 16 Administrators Share Posted May 16 You don't need to unplug the router everyday - they're designed to be always on and use very little power. Make your settings changes then reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes, then everything should be saved if you unplug again
jacksonpujols
I did what it said, reboot, but nothing was saved, it went back to the beginning, every time I reboot the router oh it shuts down it puts me a different ip WAN.
Fuzy
The Wan IP corresponds to the DHCP IP of your main router. 192.168.1.XXX It may change if you have not reserved the IP in advance. What type of IP are you expecting?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 17 Administrators Share Posted May 17 As above the WAN IP changing is normal. Are you having to do the Setup Wizard each time you plug it back in?
jacksonpujols
exactly, every time I connect it I have to go through the configuration wizard
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 17 Administrators Share Posted May 17 Do a factory reset from the interface, close the tab, wait 4 minutes, access, complete the wizard, make your changes, use it for at least a few hours, then reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes then access and unplug later that day and see if it works then
jacksonpujols
It also doesn't let me do a factory reset, when I hit reset it just updates the page and nothing happens.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 17 Administrators Share Posted May 17 If you refresh the page you can still access it when it should be resetting? Do the lights on the router cycle?
jacksonpujols
Exactly, only the page is updated, it is not reset, the lights work the same.
