Device showing up as unknown and can't block traffic...

Recommended Posts

So I've connected my Ipad Pro (wifi only version) to the R3 and it shows up as an unknown device (computer)
I attempt to block traffic on the device and it's not blocking it at all?

I deleted the device from the Router after disconnecting it from the Router, then tried re-adding it but no luck..

Added it now but the GEO filter isn't working, it says inactive on the GEO filter even though I changed the iPad pro to a playstation 5.

I've enabled strict mode, but yeah, nothing is showing up.

I'm trying to use the GEO filter with Pokemon Unite on IOS

It'll be showing up as unknown because iOS has the Private/Random MAC address option enabled. A MAC address is a unique identifier for a device - by randomizing/privatizing it the router cannot tell what the device is. If you disable this and disconnect/re-connect to the WiFi the router will then be able to tell what the device is.

As above if you disable Geo-Latency that won't happen again - it's also not a game we have specifically tested.
