Lsmith24 Posted March 6, 2024 Posted March 6, 2024 it won’t let me use the ping optimizer, keeps giving me an error code. and everytime i try to login via the app on my phone, it keeps saying unknown error occurred and won’t let me login
Aspect of Wrath Posted March 7, 2024 Posted March 7, 2024 Restart router or power off then on again, this issue is going to be fixed next firmware.
Lsmith24 Posted March 7, 2024 Author Posted March 7, 2024 okay thanks, will this only fix the login issue or will it fix the ping and login issue both?

I am still waiting to update R2 firmware coming "soon" said last year lmao.
Lsmith24 Posted March 7, 2024 Author Posted March 7, 2024 is there a way i can access dumaos on my pc? i’ve seen where people do it and it may let me optimize my ping that way, but i can’t find it anywhere. that’s why i’ve done everything through my phone

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 7, 2024 Administrators Posted March 7, 2024 As above that'll help you login on a PC. For the app, uninstall it then re-install it, does that allow you to login?
Lsmith24 Posted March 7, 2024 Author Posted March 7, 2024 i was able to get in through my pc, thank you so much Netduma Fraser 1
Lsmith24 Posted March 7, 2024 Author Posted March 7, 2024 it’s still not letting me do the ping optimization on my pc
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 7, 2024 Administrators Posted March 7, 2024 We are aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and it's something the team are working on. Those features can still work, it just may not be every time. In the meantime best to adjust Congestion Control manually in Ping Optimizer > Advanced.
Lsmith24 Posted March 7, 2024 Author Posted March 7, 2024 thanks for your help fraser, seriously. i appreciate it! when will i know when the optimization and all of that will be running smoothly? Netduma Fraser 1
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 7, 2024 Administrators Posted March 7, 2024 There will be an update and it would detail it in the change log on that update if included
Lsmith24 Posted March 8, 2024 Author Posted March 8, 2024 okay i gotcha. i have a question tho, on my normal router i was getting a consistent 30ms ping on cod mw3 , i was just wondering if my ping will drop any below that when the update comes out for the ping issue. i’m getting anywhere from 40-60ms in game now with the r3. so i’m hoping once this is fixed, it’ll be able to drop lower than what i was normally getting. is that possible or?

Try turning off stable ping on geo filter if you care more about lower ping because stable ping usually raises ping by 10 or more.
PharmDawgg Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 If you don’t like the amount of ping buffer that is applied by Steady Ping (Simple). do know with Steady Ping (Expert) you can manually set how much ping buffer is applied to stabilize you ping spikes. It is a pretty nice function.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 8, 2024 Administrators Posted March 8, 2024 Very likely Steady Ping as others have mentioned. In terms of can you get lower it really depends if there are other servers in your area that you ping lower to. You can check with Ping Heatmap
