jmoorect1979
First I would like to say how thankful for all the improvements made and responding to feedback from us. A while back I requested that rocket league be added to the game list for the geo filter and it has, thanks! That being said, when playing rocket league SmartBoost still doesn't recognize I'm playing a game while playing rocket league therefore I am suffering latency and packet loss a lot. Is there any way to help SmartBokst recognize rocket league as a game so it prioritizes my gaming? I do have my device added amd it is highlighted, but the priority for "gaming" is not. I appreciate any help or feedback.
DARKNESS
@jmoorect1979Rocket league will most likely not be added back because the data is encrypted so it'll just be causing false DPI in addition if your having packet loss that is not related to the DPI but your networks QOS you have to adjust it by saturating your network and seeing if there are any ping spikes/loss if packets. jmoorect1979
So there's no way to identify rocket league as a game so SmartBoost can prioritize gaming?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 7 Administrators Share Posted March 7 What platform are you playing on? If you make a priority specifically for RL, does it show it prioritizing then?
jmoorect1979
I play on pc. I know that rocket is listed in the server ping tab, but it's not in the game list to select when adding a device to the geo filter. And when I play rocket league SmartBoost doesn't recognize I'm playing a game and it doesn't prioritize my gaming activity.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 7 Administrators Share Posted March 7 That's odd, I'll have to check with the team, it was there previously. In the meantime add your PC as a device and that will prioritize the PC and therefore the game when playing. jmoorect1979
jmoorect1979
I have done that. My pc is added and does highlight like it's activating it, but on the activity side, gaming does not highlight, like it's not activated. I have experienced some really bad packet loss while playing rocket league too while I'm home alone and nothing else using the internet.
