Rizzo777
I have 300 down and 75 up but iv been thinking about getting the 900. But iv seen people post on here when they have high speeds like this there not getting there full speeds its being halved is it pointless in upgrading? Fuzy
Hi ! I use R3 in DHCP behind my ISP router and I have no problem obtaining speeds close to Gbps! Enregistrement 2024-03-04 215137.mp4
PharmDawgg
I was having a similar issue, but my issue was how I was testing my speeds. I was using a web-based speed test vs app-based speed test. I am not getting exactly 1gig speeds but ~900 Mbps speeds.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 4 Administrators Share Posted March 4 The router is very capable of getting those speeds - unless you're using PPPoE on the R3 which we're currently looking at boosting the speeds with PharmDawgg
Rizzo777
My internet is pppoe will it be OK do u think. I'm still learning about routers so not sure if this is a stupid question.

If I did get the 900mbps package how much speed would I lose ?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 4 Administrators Share Posted March 4 Currently it's unlikely you'd receive the full amount, perhaps around 600Mbps would be the limit

Fuzy
You can get them by letting your isp router manage the pppoe and putting the R3 in dhcp/dmz behind it! The rate limiting constraint is only if the R3 is handling the pppoe at the moment.

wdz
Hi, I have this problem too. Only my operator has access to the ISP router. he only gives me data for pppoe connection. I've been asking him for a week to give me another connection. but he was offended that I bought a router and I have to deal with it myself so I have to wait until the netduma technicians improve the speed using pppoe. It's likely we will do it but I couldn't guarantee when that would happen
