EAFC 24 High ping

Recommended Posts

Hi, after using NETDUMA R3 my ping goes up and if I connect my PS5 to my default router I get 10ms with stabilization, but when I use NETDUMA R3 I get 14-18ms with no stabilization (without using Geo Filter ) If I use it Geo Filter I get 24-28 ms with no stabilization, I don't know why I'm getting high ping with NETDUMA R3

Are you checking the ping in game or somewhere else? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. Are ALL devices connected to the R3?

I check the ping in game, I also checked the Ping Heatmap as well and I get the same result in my default router 10ms but In the game like I said before without Geo Filter 14-18ms with Geo filter 24-28ms, I connect R3 with The cat 8 cable from my internet is plugged into the wall so I can get full speed also I use the same place and same outlet where my previous router was, I only use the R3 for my phone, my computer, my PS5 and my Xbox only.

Same here with high ping on 23 Firmware.

can Not Upgrade because newest Firmware is buggy and can Not acces via WLAN and vlan does Not work

You'll need to upgrade if it's caused by the CPU. VLAN does work on it, you only can't access the interface via WiFi? Are you connected directly to the R3 WiFi when trying to access? - Being connected to your ISP modem/router you wouldn't be able to access for example.

Yes, it works when I disable Steady Ping

Steady Ping by design raises your ping to absorb any spikes/fluctuations in the game to give you a smoother more consistent ping for the entirety of the match but you can play without it if you wish, glad that fixed it for you.

@Netduma Fraser

the newest firmware does not work when you enable vlan - if i enable VLAN it ends up not reacting andymore and webinterface crashes; maybe it is not the vlan itself - because it works in .23- but it is the interface after putting vlan tag.

for sure i can not acces via wlan or lan to R3 anymore after putting in the VLAN on the newest firmware.

So for the moment i can not use the R3 in Germany. Hope you will fix it soon. i like the idea of netduma in general and had the R2, but for now it is useless in germany when you have VDSL - mybe it is better then using cable or fibre in germany.

This hasn't been reported to us so it's not being looked into, if you reboot after setting it on .41 does it work and can you access?

Interesting, factory reset after .41 and then try - not had anyone else report this.

Router doesn't matter when it comes to being banned, it'll likely be the one internet falls into an IP range that is automatically blocked. If you PM me your public IP address on the blocked internet I'll have a look and see if I can unblock it.
