Safe to turn off every night?

Hi just a quick question,

Is it safe to turn off the netduma R3 at night before going to sleep or would you suggest it better to be left running 24/7. As I'm wondering if it's an issue to keep turning it on and off everyday

Routers are usually on 24/7 no need to turn it off, is there a reason you want it off?

I have an old r1 that i rarely use for when i go to friends house and it still works great, so yea if you want to turn it off for w/e reason go for it.

Leave it on, chipsets don’t like constant on and off in routers. They really are designed to be kept on constantly, just like modems and ONTs. Its power usage is very low so you will not see much savings in your bill.

Routers are generally very low power and are designed to be on all the time so I would suggest as the others have to leave it on. You could disable the RGB though every night as that would save some power.
