Is it all devices you see it on? Have you split the WiFi bands?
MattyAu
I too have just noticed my wifi dropping out here and there throughout the day, only since updating to .41 FW; can't say I noticed it prior to updating.

If you grab the logs prior to rebooting when it happens that'll help us identify the problem
Mullock
How do I switch from 5ghz to 2.4ghz? My Wi-Fi signal is lousy and the unit switches from 2.4 GHz to 5 GHz and I cannot find a way to change it or fix it on 2.4 GHz. The router is approximately 30 feet away but it’s not a direct line of site, so 5 GHz Doesn’t even work. The signal is still lousy in 2.4 GHz. I don’t understand how a quad band router has such a lousy broadcasting signal when the over 10-year-old R1 was better. anyhow, I have two options at this point unless you guys come up with a magical fix and that is getting an additional extender so I can send a signal 30 feet or start pulling wires through walls. I’m very disappointed. Will the Microtik Audience work for a tri band extender without to much hassle?

Split the bands, that will then give you two WiFi networks to choose from on devices, one 2.4, the other 5GHz. Try these suggestions: Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ Any extender should work just fine
