Khalid Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 I have enabled bridge option in ISP modem to let R3 doing all works , but all other options (like DMZ , upnp ) in modem will be inactive . Is it normal and can I put PS5 IP in R3 DMZ ??? Please any help on this. Regards
Newfoundland Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 Yes it’s normal in bridge mode. You can put the ps5 in DMZ but there are risks even though they are low. Set the IP address as well so it remains the same. The risk is every port is open and as such on a shared network it’s possible to gain access so be aware of using DMZ as it bypasses the routers security. Insure the PS5 is upto date as Sony push security update.
