From what I’ve seen they won’t reconnect and all you have to do is unplug the router for 30 seconds then plug it back in and everything connects.

Okay thanks, I'll pass it onto the team to have a look at.

On the geo filter slide when gaming on ps5 the Ping assist is active but nothing on the graph is there a fix ?

Ping Assist is a filtering method, nothing to do with the ping showing but try the above and see if that works please

took a little longer to report back but here it is.

I am now on v4.0.41 and notice as of today there is again the in-game lag in cod. This was not the issue 2 days ago and I am so confused what is happening? please do not reply with the regular config stuff as i have done so as previous posts suggested.

Bufferbloat is rated as an A though. see also here: https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat?test-id=6e8529e6-ff45-4938-8aaa-1b07624df2a2

any thoughts?

It won't necessarily be the firmware, there are other variables outside of the router, what ping is the Geo-Filter/in game showing?

37ms so pretty good. Without netduma there is no ingame lag/stutter. It especially occurs when an opponent is in front of me. Could it be because of that player uses vpn or something?

I had the same problem. Horrible games in cod and apex legends. I disabled steady ping and wola back to dominating. .41 reactivate steadyping when you reboot router. Try disable steadyping and wait 10-15 minutes and you should be good.

It could definitely be the above, let us know if that helps at all. I wouldn't have thought so as it is your connection to the server that matters more.

I don't think the problem is that the R3 cannot manage 4 devices, in fact on my network there are always at least 7 to 8 devices connected and they all work perfectly.

How do you have your Wi-Fi configured? Do you have the bands divided?

5ghz band only channel 36 160ghz. not many 5ghz wifis in my area. it works after a fresh reboot but over time craps out.

there arent just 4 devices. i have connected my old router via powerlan to extend wifi coverage for the rest of the flat. but connected to the netduma on wifi are basically just 2 phones and my laptop.

the gaming experience is just plain worse than my TP-Link router without any gaming features.

maybe it's great on LAN but for the pricetag it's too much hassle to be a betatester. i am going to return.

If you're exclusively using 5GHz that is probably why, it can be easily impacted by obstructions, 2.4GHz is more stable generally

I have disabled steady ping which helped a bit. Still laggy but playable. @Netduma Frasercan we get info about this? Is this indeed buggy at the moment (steady ping)

Well when you have Steady Ping enabled and it's showing a game as prioritized are you seeing the ping go above the stabilized ping?
