It is a 2x2 and drivers to hardware make a difference as does any port issues or  whether they have amps fitted to them or not, which Asus  and Netgear tend to have which are seen on reviews from say Tim at Smallnetbuilder on his strip downs. Better hardware, official drivers.

The Asus you have is a 4x4 and 4x4 so good hardware. Just better hardware and drivers which is why you pay a fair bit more.

Yes ,I’m aware ,it is good but I’ve always been found of DumaOs since day one ,to be honest I’m going to give it a few days see how it goes ,wish they had chosen slightly higher end hardware for this or at least the option

Well crap … very disappointed in netduma, I’ve been through thick and thin with you guys . I’ve come to realize you’re just like a game company… tell us what to expect and hype us up and not come true ! How dare you call this router an AX . You had one job to do to make sure it would be great and failed at it again. The router is just a R2 1.5 with the same Wi-Fi settings and setup . So it sounds like you guys went the cheap route on hardware and now we suffer from it as for Wi-Fi .

Thanks for the extra information, in terms of the extra features I have requested them, I don't know as to when they might be implemented. The team will want to fix any issues first I suspect before adding in new options. There have been a few people that have provided extensive testing feedback on the WiFi and the team is reviewing them currently to work on improving it - it will be one of their priorities. WiFi is a tricky one, we've done lots of testing on it but nothing can beat it being actually used by customers in different countries, homes, setups etc, it's why it's a hard one to nail down but I'm confident that with the team we have and DumaOS 4 that we'll get it resolved.

You can see those details at netduma.com/terms
